Awards - AFFA

The AFFA are annual honors given by VF/UK to recognize and celebrate designers, brands, and individuals who are leading the way in cruelty-free and animal-friendly fashion. The awards aim to highlight those who have rejected the use of animal products like fur, leather, exotic skins, feathers, and wool.

The awards are handed out at a ceremony during Vegan Fashion Week London.

The awards serve a dual purpose: to honor industry trailblazers and to inspire both the fashion industry and consumers to make more compassionate and sustainable choices. The categories of awards are:

• Best Vegan Designer - clothing

• Best Vegan Designer - Footwear

• Best Vegan Fashion Innovation

• Best Vegan Student Designer

The judging criteria focus on a brand's commitment to using animal-free materials, their innovative use of sustainable vegan fabrics, public advocacy for animal rights, and the overall quality and desirability of their fashion.
